The goal of the project was to design a refreshed look & feel based on Sassy’s updated brand identity. With Sassy Hong Kong running for more than 8 years, they had a lot of content in their database, which had to be preserved and adapted to the new layout. A strong focus was also to maintain and improve their SEO performance during that transition to their new look and feel. This was achieved by an in-depth review of the UX, a careful attention to details on the UI and a mobile first approach.
We kicked-off the project by taking the time to listen to Sassy’s team objectives and concerns. We delivered a fresh look & feel completely in line with their updated brand identity which puts a strong focus on their quality content, be it text, imagery or videos. The revamped site encompass original and promoted content as well as strategically placed advertisements so that reader are encouraged to browse more of Sassy’s articles. We also designed a light yet easy-to-use mobile experience for readers on-the-go. The new Sassy Hong Kong has been very well received by avid readers and first-timers alike and Sassy’s team is thrilled. We are too!
